CRITICAL VALUES OF PRECIPITATIONS
Critical values of precipitations are considered those values of height of precipitation over whose something begins to happen inside the investigated area or within an hydrographic basin during a generic or extreme rainfall’s event.
It’s not important the typology of activated processes but the fact that geomorphological system begins to enter in a phase of crisis because it is no more capable to substain falling waters.
In the proposed model the peculiarity is that these values of height of precipitations are not constant but variable inside the investigated area above all along the vertical direction or with altitude above the sea level.
So these particular values are not uniques and relatives to basins but they are variables for the same basin and this fact is justified considering that catchement area’s values change also along the altitude inside this basin.
